A founder of the Seattle Clemency Project.
Since 2016, Jon has focused a significant part of his practice on petitions for clemency, commutations, pardons, and parole. He saw a need for relief in the criminal justice process in Washington. Thus, together with his colleague Jen Smith, he founded the Seattle Clemency Project, an organization that matches indigent and deserving incarcerated individuals with volunteer lawyers. He is currently the President of the Board of Directors of the Seattle Clemency Project and has personally helped several incarcerated individuals receive recommendations for Clemency.
